Captain America Never Fails To Please

You know, there are times in my life when things are tough, and I lose a little bit of hope. Where I feel like nothing is ever going to go my way, and I start to give up hope.

Then, from out of the blue, Olaf sends me...

Really puts things into perspective.

This particular piece is by Kevin Leen, and is titled (fittingly enough) "Captain America Punches Hitler." And, get this: if you really love your Friendly Neighborhood Hitler Puncher, you could certainly buy him a signed print for his birthday (June 5th).

I Could Seriously Just Put These Up Forever

If I had enough Cap #1 Tribute pics, I would put them up every day of the week for eternity.

It's Been A Year!

Well, a year and two days, technically.

I'd like to pretend I have this huge, wonderful surprise for you...but I'd be a lying bastard in that case.

Heck I even forgot to put up my easter pictures. Shame on me. I guess you can see my easter stuff a week later or something...(man I kinda suck at this).

At any rate, there is no friggin' way I celebrate a full year of HGP without including a pic of the master:

The Great Question of the Ages

Marvel Comics has never been afraid to ask the tough questions, questions like:

• What if exposure to radiation didn't lead to hair loss, thyroid damage, reduced lymphocyte count, nausea, diarrhea, sterility, cancer, and/or death, but rather made people into giant green rampaging monsters or wisecracking acrobats able to stick to walls?
• Could a short, hairy Canadian with a history of violent behavior become a Hollywood sex symbol?
• Is there anything more ass-kicking than this cover?¹
  

And in the fall of 1991, they answered the question on all of our minds:

Well, other than it being vaguely homoerotic, it turns out the answer is:

Hitler gets shot, y'all.

The 90s were, of course, a darker time. Punching was apparently not gritty enough.

Alternate timeline Hitler gets a hot lead injection in What if..? (volume II) #28, written by George Caragonne, with pencils by Ron Wilson and inks by Ralph Cabrera.

Olaf found this, which I believe makes him an honorary U.S. citizen by now, whether he likes it or not.²
