A Punishment I Never Thought Of

'What’s the matter? Don’t you like my little maggots?' is going on my business card.

KILLER MAGGOTS!

Please read about this movie.

And then, please send me this movie.

Thanks to Olaf, for broadening my Nazi-maggot-movie horizons.

"Don't Make Me Take Off My Belt!"

This was the perennial threat from my father as a child, and I think the world would have been a better place if someone had followed through on this with Hitler, circa 1923:

This fist later joined the Black Panthers.

Olaf discovered this 1943 advertisement here.

P.S. - My dad only followed through on it once. That was sufficient.

There Is No 'I' in 'Team'

But there is a Hitler in a press!

Having Stalin on the side of a free press is a little hilarious, though.

The Allies team up in another cartoon from here, courtesy of Olaf.

I totally forgot to actually give the artist credit yesterday, but from the link, it was Alexandre Saroukhan.

What Goes Around...

Oh, you know the rest.

He must have put a hell of a topspin on this.

Olaf discovered this cartoon here.

I Wish the Post Office Were Open Today...

I have something I want to mail:

I almost created the tag 'Donkey Punching Hitler,' but I decided that would attract an unsavory audience.
Olaf discovered this here.

It's Called Playing the Percentages...

...it's what smart Hitler Punchers do.

You know what? I just plain like watching Hitler get hurt. There. I said it.

More information can be found here.

Thanks to Olaf.

AUUUUUUUUUUUGGGHHHHHHH!

May I never relive the 90s again.

Man, that pun is worse than even my lamest rollover jokes.
I don't know who drew the cover of Femforce #131, but thanks for haunting my nightmares forever.
Thanks to you too, rcs.

And To Top It Off...

He's having a bad hair day:

He kinda looks like John Astin here. Just saying.
Whenever I'm having a bad day, it's nice to see that Hitler's doing even worse. Even Bloomingdale's is out to get him.

The artist signing this department store death warrant was S. J. Woolf, of which I know next to nothing. But Olaf rcs found this here.

'THIS MAN...THIS HITLER!"

Well this one almost pulled a fast one on me:

Really, I almost expected this to say 'Hitler Goes Wild!'
At first I thought this was a genuine Golden Age cover, until I realized that the artwork had a surprisingly Kirbyesque, Silver Age feel (and the logo was oddly modern looking). It turns out that Surprising Comics was a 1999 attempt to reprint Golden Age stories, whose cover was pencilled by long-time Kirby inker Chic Stone, and inked by Tom Hickey. I can't find a direct lift for this pose, but there are quite a few 1960s Kirby covers that look suspiciously similar.

And now you know...

Oh and the character engaged in Mighty-Thor-esque grapplage with Hitler is named 'Nemesis.'

And now you know even more...

This is another one where I can't remember the credit. Anyone wants to take it, it's yours.

Last-Minute Replacement Entry Time!

Olaf just pointed out I accidentally put up something twice today, so I'm replacing that entry with this:

Hellboy vs. Mechahitler. There is nothing not awesome about that.
Here Olaf, one of yours!

This occurred in Savage Dragon #34 & #35, of which more info can be found here.

I'm amazed it took me this long to make an error like that.

Well, I'll Be...

One more less-than-kosher picture of Hitler has turned up:

The swastika stud earrings are a bit much, Hitler-pig.

Thanks, Alibear!

Oh, Golden Age...

You...well, maybe complete is a strong word.

Seriously: what the hell?
To sum up: Captain Freedom, dressed in yet another one of the ugliest flag costumes imaginable, takes a swing at Hitler, who is singlehandedly leading an army of what appear to be elf-boot-wearing Lovecraftian Horrors from the Deep through an incredibly well-made and presumably secret tunnel underneath the White House.

No, I think I'm going to stick with it:

Oh, Golden Age, you complete me.

Speed #16 cover is possibly by Al Avison, though if it is, he must have been rushed.

Thanks to Olaf.

Okay...One More

Because really, can you have enough Hilter/Pig Ass comparisons?

I submit that you cannot.

Thanks to Mark, who found it here.

More Hitler Pig Caricatures?

Sure.

But I'm not making a week out of it.

Mainly because this is all I have:

Apparently, this pig has two asses.

I don't really have much information on this other than that it's entitled "Hitler-Herring" (which I assume is Goering), and was made in 1942 by an apparently Soviet artist named V. Galba.

rcs discovered this image here.

Sometimes My Notes To Myself...

..look like 80s Butthole Surfers album titles.

Case in point, this gem, which has been sitting in my queue for a couple of months under the title:

No, there won't be a Hitler On a Pig's Ass Week. Just banish that hope from your mind.

"Hitler Pig Ass Bank"

I really don't know how to elaborate on that technically accurate description.

Sadly, the auction where rcs has found this ended some time ago. Well, sad for anyone who really needs even more "Hitler's face on a pig" memorabilia.

Oh, and I accidentally scheduled yesterday's post for January of 2009. It's visible now.
