So, Last Night Was Kind Of A Big Deal...

Wow. So...Bin Laden is dead, huh? I'll stop to celebrate for a few moments.

....

....

Okay, gotta keep my eyes on the prize!

Thanks to Olaf for sending me this, which he found here. And an extra special thanks to mrjuju125, for filling the Internet's void of Batman punching Hitler pics.

Ah, Time Travel Lincoln...

...eases brings the pain:

Olaf once again singlehandedly drags me forward with this gem, found here (with explanation).

ANOTHER Cap Sketch? Sure.

Olaf just dropped this on me, and I thought I'd drop it on you:

I wish I could source it, but I don't have the info. If you did this, let me know.

If You Don't Love Gene Colan

Well then honestly, I don't know what to say to you. Except that you're really missing out, man:

Comics legend Gene Colan drew this on commission, and it can be located here.

Olaf again.

If I Started A Tumblr Page

Well, (1) I would probably get more pageviews, but more importantly (2), I would have to call it...

FUCKYEAHCAPTAINAMERICA!

This picture, depicting everything good and right with the world, is a commissioned piece by Ernie Chan, and was found here.

Another tip o' the cap to Olaf.

Hey Wonder Woman...

What's your favorite U2 album?

Really? I preferred Boy.

I'm not 100% convinced that this beauty, with art by Phil Jimenez is actually Hitler, but man, it's close enough to make a godawful joke.

Um...Holy Crap

This is just blowing my mind.

Just. Blowing. My. Mind.

Olaf discovered this here. I have nothing else to say about it.

BLOWING.

MY.

MIND.

I'm Not Gonna Lie: I Did This For Like 5 Minutes Straight...

A while back I got the Wolfenstein RPG for my phone. Throughout the game there are paintings of Hitler on the walls of the castle. So, of course I walked over to one and...well:

...punched the crap out of him.

Being a procrastinating devil, I kept swearing I would get a screencap and then not bothering to try. Thankfully, the internet provides.

P.S. - I replaced the broken link on this classic HGP entry that my former contributer/arch-nemesis Flex RUINED SOMEHOW...

The Only Easter Gift I Can Give You

The gift of Hitler Punching!

Oh Cap. You did it first, you did it best.

Cap sells us some war bonds courtesy of Nick Mockoviak. Hat tip to Olaf yet again, for pointing this one out.

Captain America Never Fails To Please

You know, there are times in my life when things are tough, and I lose a little bit of hope. Where I feel like nothing is ever going to go my way, and I start to give up hope.

Then, from out of the blue, Olaf sends me...
ANOTHER PICTURE OF CAP PUNCHING HITLER!

Really puts things into perspective.

This particular piece is by Kevin Leen, and is titled (fittingly enough) "Captain America Punches Hitler." And, get this: if you really love your Friendly Neighborhood Hitler Puncher, you could certainly buy him a signed print for his birthday (June 5th).

Well, I Demanded It...

Oh, are you still here? Good.

Longtime contributor Olaf just tipped me off about this one:
He found it here, which (based on translating software) seems to be a German blog devoted to destroying the myth of Hitler, by showing how he is presented in pop culture. Or something. I should ask Olaf rather than trusting to free online translation software.

Still, it's Hitler getting Disco-sticked. I can't ask for much more than that.

I Don't Quite Understand This

It's something to do with a video game of some sort. However, I am officially too old and out of the loop to truly understand it.

But, hey, I support all sorts of Hitler abuse, even the aftermath:

I found these during a random image search. They were created by someone calling him- (or her-) self "robonator."

I Love a Parade!

Actually, I kind of hate parades. But most of the parades I go to don't have ridiculous Hitler floats.

According to the site where I found this, it's called ‘Afterbirth,’ and depicts Adolf Hitler crapping out a current right wing party.

At any rate, it's pretty humiliating, and therefore a reason to reactive good ol' HGP.

Ask and Ye Shall Receive

You wanted more Hitler Punching? You got it.

Or rather, I wanted more Hitler Punching, asked for it, and got it.

This may be a little High Concept,* but here's a wonderfully drawn 5-second sketch of webcomics juggernaut Kevin Church delivering what I assume to be a right jab to Adolf's noggin', courtesy of Drunk Elephant Comics' very own Max Riffner!

I've never met Mr. Church face-to-face, but I am assured that this is accurate in every detail.

*As if I ever had a problem with that.

HGP Field Trip!

Okay, I know it's been ages since I updated, but I have no excuses or apologies.

A couple of weekends ago, Mrs. HGP and I took a little trip to the Museum of Science and Industry here in Chicago. Now, we mainly came to see the Jim Henson exhibit (awesome), but before we left we took a spin by the U-505 exhibit (also awesome). On the way out, I noticed an old acquaintance...

So, I had to take a potshot:

As did Ali:

We also took pictures of me next to a fake stewpot in a replica galley, and numerous other minutiae, but they weren't as germane to the blog. If you're ever in Chicago, be sure to stop by the museum and take a few swings at Adolf before a docent reports you to security!
